Having graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2001 and with a year of post graduate training from the Oxford Deanery, Ranjit has a unique breath and depth of experience and dental expertise, specialising in all aspects of cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
Ranjit enjoys travelling and is committed to keeping up to date with the latest techniques in cosmetic dentistry by attending dental courses both in the UK and abroad. Having worked in general practice in Berkshire for several years before joining Dentalcare Marylebone as Principal Dentist in 2007, Ranjit is passionate about driving through his ethos of providing patients with the best possible care at every level of our practice. |

Dr Ian Tapp BDS
Dentist
Ian graduated from Adelaide University in 1979. After several years in general practice, Ian travelled extensively in South East Asia and India before joining our team in 2007. With a friendly, professional yet relaxed approach, Ian enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a particular interest in ceramic work, and the biomechanical advances that this area of dentistry has seen over recent years. Spending time developing his knowledge and expertise in this specific area of restorative and cosmetic dentistry, Ian regularly attends courses in the UK and abroad. |

Gillian graduated from Glasgow University in 1995. Following this she completed her training in Edinburgh before starting work in family practice. Having stayed there for some years, she moved to London in 1999 working as a private dentist for Boots Dentalcare. She enjoys all aspects of private dentistry. |

Dr Bianca Bratosin BDS(Hons), DDS
Dentist
Bianca qualified with Honours in 1994 from the University of Sydney as Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Having gained many years of experience in general dental practice, her professional career also included a teaching role as practical tutor in the discipline of Fixed Prosthodontics (Crown/Bridge/Veneer) for the Faculty of Dentistry in Sydney where she also participated in the selection process of candidates for the dental programme.
In 2002, she also registered as a Doctor of Dental Surgery in California after undertaking the National Dental Board Examinations at the American Dental Association in Chicago, and the State Licensure examinations at the University of California, Los Angeles.
With her main interest lying in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, Bianca travels around the world to keep her advanced skills and knowledge ahead of the field. Thus far, she has attended post graduate courses in Toronto, London, Sydney and Los Angeles. |

Mrs Diana Minto RDHDT
Hygienist/ Therapist
Diana gained her combined Diploma in Dental Hygiene & Therapy from Sheffield University in 2007. After graduating, she spent 6 months working as a volunteer in rural areas in Mexico offering dental treatment in communities where access to dental services is difficult. She returned to England and joined Dentalcare Marylebone in 2008. Diana is an active member of the British Dental Hygienist’s and Therapist’s Association. She enjoys working closely with patients, dentists and specialists and is always striving to provide the best care for her patients to help them to achieve an optimal oral health.
Outside of work she enjoys travelling, walking her dogs and playing sports, especially tennis.

Mrs Carmel Gould
Practice Manager
Carmel has been in dentistry for the last 8 years. She started as a receptionist with Boots Dental Care in their then Centre of Excellence practice in Oxford Street, London in 2001. Carmel has worked tirelessly to learn all aspects of the business by attending training courses and within 2 years of working in dentistry, Carmel was given the opportunity to manage her own practice. Carmel has had extensive experience working with a leading Dental Corporate at a management level and has brought professionalism, customer service excellence and vibrancy to the practice. Creating a welcoming and friendly environment within the practice, patients are made to feel relaxed and at ease.

Dr Paul Tipton BDS, MSc, DGDP, UK
Specialist in Prosthodontics
Dr Tipton commenced his advanced restorative dental training in 1987, where after 2 years study he was awarded a Masters Degree in Conservative Dentistry from the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital in London. In 1992 he was awarded an honorary ‘Diploma in General Dental Practice’ from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and appointed a member of the British Dental Associations Independent Practice Committee.
Dr Tipton is regarded as a leading authority on cosmetic and restorative dentistry and implantology in the UK. Recognised and certified as a Specialist in Prosthodontics* by the General Dental Council in 1999, Dr Tipton regularly lectures on cosmetic, implant and restorative dentistry to dentists across the UK, Europe, North America & Asia.
He is on the editorial board of Independent Dentistry and Restorative & Aesthetics Practice and was a founding member of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (BAAD) and the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD).
Dr Tipton regularly writes clinical articles for the dental and consumer press on smile design and how a beautiful smile can be achieved and he has been featured in magazines in ‘Stars of Private Practice’.
He has recently been voted by UK dental professionals the most influential Prosthodontics Specialist in the UK. |

Dr John Doran BDS
Oral Surgeon
John Doran is a fully qualified Oral surgeon with more than 15 years experience in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He qualified from Guys Dental School in 1991 and started his career in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery in a hospital environment. John is also a teacher of Oral Surgery King Dental Institute.
John was placed on the Surgical Dentist Specialist register in 2000 and on the Oral Surgery Specialist register in 2007. His special interests are dental acupuncture, dental implants, medical informatics, tele-dentistry and forensic dentistry.

Alexandra Efthymiou DDS, MClinDent (Lond) (Perio)
Periodontist
Alexandra Efthymiou was born and raised in Thessaloniki, Greece’s largest city
outside of Athens.
Having completed her basic training in General Dentistry at Aristotle University,
Greece, in 2002, she went on to complete a postgraduate diploma in Restorative
and Paediatric dentistry. During this period, Alexandra carried out significant work
both within a hospital environment and a multidisciplinary private dental practice,
treating patients with special needs and gaining experience in a wide range of
treatment approaches, respectively.
In 2004 Alexandra moved to the UK to continue her studies at the Eastman Dental
Institute at University College London Hospital, where she had special interest in the field of
periodontology and implantology.
Throughout her training at Eastman, she demonstrated highly developed clinical
skills in the fields of non-surgical and surgical periodontal treatment. Alongside her
academic performance, she also successfully treated a significant amount of
patients and executed highly complex and advanced treatment procedures.
Alexandra has gone on to work as an associate at Eastman Dental Hospital and
within several practices, amongst ours, exclusively in periodontics and implant
dentistry. |

Michael is highly qualified, holding a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Liverpool (1975); Master of Science in Orthodontics from the renowned Royal London Dental Institute of London University (2003); Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (2004); Membership in the Faculty of Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (2001); Membership in General Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (1999); and Membership in the Faculty of General Dental Practitioner from the Royal College of Surgeons in England (1992).
He has previously practised as a general dental practitioner in Liverpool, Windsor, Bracknell for 26 years; and as an orthodontist in Slough since 2004. He has a wide range of clinical experience in both adult and children orthodontics. He maintains an up-to-date expertise in the latest orthodontic technology including micro-implants, self-ligating braces and invisible braces. He is an ‘Incognito’ invisible lingual braces accredited practitioner.
Michael is a part-time clinical lecturer at the Royal London Dental Institute of London University.
Michael is an Orthodontic Specialist Group Committee member of the British Orthodontic Society and an active member of the European Orthodontic Society. He is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, a member of World Federation of Orthodontists, and a member of British Dental Association.
He has published several papers in the British Dental Journal and other Dental Journals. Besides his busy clinical career, he maintains a keen interest in the latest techniques in interdisciplinary work in adult and children orthodontics.
Michael is very friendly and approachable, and greatly enjoys working with his patients to improve their smile and facial appearance through orthodontics.
